Cúrsa Láimhseáil Fisiciúil
This is an intensive and highly interactive five-day course during which participants are trained in instructional skills techniques as well as the theoretical and practical aspects of manual handling. The course programme includes modules on legislation and outlines the legal requirements for organisations requiring their own in-house instructor. It also includes a module on anatomy and the musculo-skeletal system delivered by our Physiotherapist. Presentations delivered by participants are filmed with each participant then receiving individual feedback from the course tutor in private. The tape is then given to each participant to take away. This course includes a written exam and practical assessments.
Successful participants on the programme will receive a full training pack in CD format. An acetate pack and extra copies of the booklet 'Safe Manual Handling' can be purchased in addition to the course to fully equip the newly qualified instructor to deliver training.
