Assessment
Participants will be assessed on the Learning Outcomes throughout this programme and those who achieve the appropriate standard will be awarded a FETAC Level 6 Minor Award in Managing People. Candidates will be required to maintain a Learning Log throughout the programme with evidence to support the application of learning. This learning log will be formally assessed for FETAC accreditation.
TRAINER PROFILE
Mary Ann McDonagh, BBS, MBSHRM, FCIPD
Qualifications and Experience:
· BBS Hons. Business Studies
oMajor: Personnel Management, Minor: Law
·Masters in Business Studies in Human Resource Management (2.1)
· Diploma in Return on Investment of Training (Dr. Jack Phillips)
· Certificate in Mediation (MII approved)
· Diploma in Managing Networks
· Currently undertaking a PhD with the University of Limerick
·Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
Mary Ann has over 10 years experience in industry, having held a number of Senior HR Management positions within large multinational organisations. She started Payback Solutions Ltd. in 2002 and has developed and implemented a broad range of training programmes, facilitation and consultancy services to a wide variety of industries. Mary Ann has delivered performance management training across the globe including Asia, Australia, US and Europe.
She specializes in Interview Skills, Performance Management, Bullying & Harassment, Employment Law, Personal Effectiveness & People Management training. Mary Ann is on the approved panel of consultants with the Equality Authority delivering training, facilitation and consultancy under the “Equality at the level of the Enterprise” grant scheme. Her work also includes group facilitation for a variety of organisations including Killarney Training Network and Failte Ireland Tourism Learning Network.
Mary Ann recently completed the Mediators Institute of Ireland approved Certified Mediation Training Programme and is currently expanding her work into the field of conflict mediation.
